About Rory Ridley-Duff

Dr Rory Ridley-Duff is a senior lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisation Behaviour at Sheffield Hallam University.  After winning a DTI Smart Award (2001) and Hallam PhD Studentship (2002), he undertook a programme of research titled Communitarian Perspectives on Corporate Governance (completed in 2005).  His second book Emotion, Seduction and Intimacy: Alternative Perspectives on Organisation Behaviour publishes key findings from this study, that the role of friendship, courtship and parental interests are hugely understated in theory about entrepreneurial behaviour and management practice.  His next book will be Understanding Social Enterprise: Theory and Practice for Sage Publications.
